NEW DELHI, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Bajaj Auto Ltd (BJAT.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), India's No. 2 motorbike maker, will launch KPM and Kawasaki bikes in 2008 in India, a senior company official told reporters on Tuesday.
"We will launch KPM and Kawasaki bikes sometime this year," Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj said.
Bajaj has a technological tie-up with Japanese heavy machinery and engineering company Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd (7012.T: Quote, Profile, Research). (Reporting by C. Jacob Kuncheria, Editing by Mark Williams)
